How they got their DREAM MOVE to Spain. Case Study #014

Have you ever wanted something and felt it was moving further and further out of reach? That is how this Bracknell Homeowner started to feel about her dream of moving to Spain with her husband.

She started her marketing with a local high street estate agent in Bracknell just before Lockdown One (Feb 2020). Following the national lockdown the vendor had started to lose hope. She had conducted most of the viewings herself due to the estate agent suggesting their diary was too busy.
She gave Avocado Property the option of coming on board alongside the other traditional agents towards the end of summer. She wanted a Berkshire Estate Agent with more experience personally, different marketing planning and to show off the lovely outlook from the front of the house to potential buyers. This is where our video based marketing is a true upgrade on ‘standard’ marketing of a high street agent.

We booked less viewings then the high street agents over a few months of marketing. We focussed on quality and ensuring the profiling of the potential buyers was correct. This was to ensure nobody had their time was wasted. Unlike most estate agents that are targeted on viewing stats we are not!
We agreed a buyer at the full asking price for the vendor who was almost in tears when we told her. The dream of moving ton Spain was back on!

Throughout the transaction there were indeed some complications (as with most transactions at the moment due to covid). We worked as a team between the buyer, home owner and solicitors throughout. There was even a point at the end when we had to step in with further advice outside of the solicitors to make a suggestion as the solicitors had hit a stand still. This is were having so much experience as a property professional comes in handy for our clients because we are able to find solutions to issues where other more inexperienced agents couldn’t.

The completion went through and since then we have had some lovely photos of the view from the balcony of their new house in Spain.

Let’s just say they are super happy clients.
