3 Things You Need To Know If You Are Selling Your Home In The 1st Qtr Of 2021.

It is not all doom and gloom at the moment. I have put together 3 bits of property news that may help you decide to come to the market with your property in the 1st quarter of 2021 and you may not already know them.

So what are the 3 things that might put a smile on your face if you are thinking of selling in this 1st quarter of 2021?

Rightmove: are quoting that Monday 4th January was their busiest day since early September with over 6,000,000 visits which was 28% higher than the same Monday in 2020. They also report that it is the busiest ever start to a year. So far visits in January are up about 30% on the same time at the start of 2020 which in itself was a strong start after the election took place.

Nationwide House Price Index: annual house price growth rose to a 6 year high of 7.3% at the end of 2020. They are up 0.8% month on month taking account of seasonal factors.

Stamp Duty Holiday: ends 31.03.21. There is still time to take advantage of this but you will need an excellent team behind you. You will want everything in place and know that there are not going to be any stumbling blocks that you could have avoided.

So you see there are positives out there. With a dedicated estate agent you can sell in the 1st quarter. What you need is someone who is on the ball and fighting your cause all the way.
