Avocado Case Study of success #022

13 Wescott Road sold over asking price 0f 425,000

Wow, what a beautiful home! Hannah and George like to do things fast. They called us 4 weeks after originally seeing them to say “Can you sell our house today, literally.”

They had found a home to buy, however there was other interest and there property wasn’t even on the market! Lucky for them, we love a challenge.

24 hours later: photos done, video done, oh and we found an amazing buyer to move forward. SSTC!

Both the buyers and Hannah and George are now all happily in there new homes and we feel super proud to of have been involved.

Sellers: Hannah and George

10/10 why go anywhere else?!
Honestly, cannot recommend Dan and Neil enough – our house was sold even before going on the market! They are both so approachable, friendly and really do have your best interests in mind. Their new way of working and chatting via WhatsApp made life so easy and the whole process less stressful. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

For decades, the flat was the natural starting point for many first-time home buyers. The first rung of the ladder. The affordable option. The stepping stone to something bigger. For landlords, it was a dependable investment. For first-time buyers, it was often the only way in.

There is a growing shift taking place in the Binfield property market, and it is not one that can be ignored. While much of the national conversation focuses on house prices and interest rates, a quieter yet more revealing metric is beginning to stand out, how long properties are taking to sell.

Young people have been locked out of homeownership. Deposits are impossible to save. Mortgage rules are too strict. And ‘Generation Rent’ is now permanent. According to the narrative by the newspapers, younger generation homeownership has collapsed.

Across the UK and here in Bicester, the property market remains surprisingly active despite the issues at home and abroad. House prices are steady, buyers are still being selective, and the market itself is evolving.
