Read on to save yourself thousands...

Watch out tenants! A common scam is circulating on Facebook and Gumtree, where scammers pose as estate agents offering unrealistically cheap rentals.

They advertise non-existent properties, enticing tenants to pay holding deposits without viewing.

Protect yourself by verifying property listings on Rightmove/Zoopla through reputable estate agents. Avoid cash deposits, insist on a holding deposit receipt, and opt for agents protected by NRLA or Arla Letting agency ombudsman schemes.
